Engagement | John Paul and Shawn | The Goat Farm

I love the chemistry between John Paul and Shawn. Love is in the air when these two are around. You can feel it.

The Proposal ” Originally, I had planned a trip to a location that Shawn had never been, but always wanted to go, San Francisco, CA. The plane tickets were paid for, hotel, and the plan laid out, but by the time the date of the trip came up, I found out that the ring wasn’t going to be ready for another 45 days.

So we still went on the trip and had a great time. And of course she wasn’t aware… So after the ring was ready, I decided that I would take her to another place that she had never been to, my home state of Washington in Seattle. Since the previous trip, about a month prior drained my funds, I had to come up with a make-shift plan for a new proposal.

We stayed in Bellevue, WA which was approximately 10 minutes away, beautiful place paired with a beautiful hotel, and matched for a beautiful lady. I had three days to find a romantic restaurant with an awesome view to prepare my proposal. I got lucky enough to find a reservation to make one.Unfortunately, we were having a blast for the first two days, but we were having so much fun that I had tired her out on the day we were supposed meet at the restaurant for dinner where I had made reservations. She took an early nap and slept for three and a half hours.

So the next day, it was back to the drawing board. I managed to find reservations at a restaurant on the pier. This woman is impossible to surprise, she was so suspicious it almost drove me crazy (laughing to myself). I found a good spot on roof top of the building facing the water and the city skyline and it was a clear and the stars were booming this night. I was lucky because one of the staff members that I had told previously was so excited, that she offered to help film it, so she was hidden in the corner and recorded the proposal.”- John Paul
